Algimantas Gurevičius (b.1959) graduated from the Vilnius Pedagogical University (1983).
JAUNA MUZIKA
In 1984 - 86 was a manager of "Museum Musicum" ensemble;
1986 founded a new ensemble, which developed into a choir "Jauna Muzika".
1991 established the club "Jauna Muzika" and is its chairman since
then;
In 1997 the board of Vilnius Municipality gave the choir the status
of the Vilnius Municipal choir and A.Gurevičius was appointed director
of the choir.
A.Gurevičius is a member of Lithuanian Choral Union.
In 1993 A.Gurevičius attended the British Association of Concert Agents
Conference in London; in 1997 he was a delegate of the American Choral
Directors Association National Convention in San Diego.
